Talking about Objects in a Communication Game

Description

Participants will wear an eye tracking device as they carry out a conversation with a fellow participant in order to accurately identify some of the objects displayed on a screen. Participants will have to find and click on the object that’s being described. Participants will also fill a short survey and a language questionnaire.

Restrictions/
Prerequisites

(1) Native or Native-like competence in English. (2) Started learning English before age 5. (3) No glasses. (4) No colour blindness. (5) No or minimal eye makeup at time of experiment. Please note that if you do not meet the criteria on the day of testing, you will not be able to participate. (6) Must not have participated in "Viewing and Listening to Media", "Identifying Images in an Eyetracking experiment" and "A language game about objects in a virtual room".
